Based on the Jewish value of Tikun Olam, Mamatefet Community society is a registered charity that offers support to mothers and a platform to connect women. Jewish values, observances and teachings are the inspiration for Mamatefet’s initiative of creating a community and a sense of belonging by offering various services to women in the community, including: pregnant women support groups, home visits & meal deliveries, mommy & baby programs, postpartum doula support, community events and a Facebook support group. Joint action is the essence of Mamatefet. All the activities that take place are organized and managed by volunteers. In addition to creating connections in our community as a whole, this model creates a strong bond and a wonderful volunteer community while providing the utmost important support expectant and new mothers need.
