Building Our Circle of Care

 

Mamatefet began with a simple, profound idea: no Jewish mother in Vancouver should ever feel alone. That simple act of kindness, inspired by the Jewish value of Tikun Olam, has grown from a small network into a vibrant circle of care, providing comfort, support, and connection when it’s needed most.

• Every new mother finds a place to belong, with home visits and support groups that welcome her into our community.

• Women in transition are met with dignity and care, knowing that a compassionate network is ready to support and embrace them.

• Programs for mothers, babies, and women's wellness grow and expand, creating new opportunities for connection and shared experiences.

• Volunteers are trained and supported, allowing us to extend our circle of care and ensure no one is left behind.
