About the event
Mamatefet Fitness Club is a monthly series of energizing fitness and wellness meetups for women who want to move, feel strong, and connect.
Each session takes place during the last week of the month with a different focus—strength training, yoga, Pilates, boxing, or outdoor workouts. No experience needed—just show up and enjoy.
This month’s class is all about Core and Stretch—a dynamic session designed to strengthen your core and improve flexibility in a relaxed, supportive setting.
Instructor: Liat Harlev, a certified fitness professional with over 20 years of experience. Liat teaches for the City of Burnaby, leading classes in circuit training, core and stretch, and Flamenco dance. She also supervises weight rooms at community centres across Burnaby. A passionate Flamenco performer, Liat enjoys yoga, Pilates, and salsa in her free time.
What to expect:
A full-body workout focused on the core
Stretching and mindful movement
Healthy refreshments and social time after the class
Come move, reset, and recharge—together.
